About Dunes Surf Movement
Dunes Surf Movement began with a simple belief: confidence is built through motion. Our roots trace back to 1976, to garages, half pipes, lake winds, and long days outside, where boards were shaped by hand, bikes were ridden until dark, and learning meant trying, falling, and getting back up. What started as a small surf shop spirit grew into something bigger than a store, it became a way of growing up. Dunes exists to keep that spirit ALIVE!
We are not here for trophies, trends, or perfection. We are here for the feeling of movement. Surf, skate, BMX, and the simple joy of using your body, your hands, and your imagination. We believe style comes from use, confidence comes from effort, and community grows when people ride, build, and learn together. At its core, Dunes is about encouragement. It's about someone believing in you before you believe in yourself. It's about being allowed to try. That belief shaped the beginning of this movement, and it still guides everything we do.
Our products are tools for motion. Our designs reflect heritage, grit, and optimism. Our goal is to create a space, on the street, at the park, by the water, or around a van where people feel welcome to start, grow, and to belong. Because when people move, they grow stronger inside.
